OUR CLASSES
We have a range of obedience style classes for dogs of all ages. We believe in using positive methods of training to ensure that your dog gets the most out of our classes and becomes the best canine companion that they can be. Our classes are fun and interactive with very small sizes to ensure that you and your dog gets the individual attention that they need to succeed.

PUPPY CLASS
For puppies aged between 8-16 weeks of age and had their first vaccination. Pawsitive puppy classes help to set your puppy up for success while learning in a fun and relaxed environment.
Puppy class isn't just about socialising with other puppies, it's also about teaching your puppy basic manners and focus exercises, plus how to settle and build calm confidence. We also teach cooperative care skills and the importance of choice plus how to be your puppy's advocate for life.
Classes are small (max 4 puppies) so you can get individual attention and coaching.
$250 for a 6-week course (first session via Zoom)

FUNDAMENTALS CLASS
For dogs aged between 6 months and 18 months that have not attended a puppy class or other training. If you have adopted a new dog, or just never got around to doing puppy training with your dog, this is the class for you!
This class includes:
Getting and keeping your dog's attention
Basic manners - sit, drop, stay, stand
Building calmness
Leash walking skills
Getting your dog to come to you even when they are busy/distracted
Household manners
Skills to increase confidence
Tricks for fun and husbandry
$250 for a 6-week course (first session via Zoom)
Location: Best Friends (Petstock) MacGregor
*New dog set up package
1 x 6-week Fundamentals class + 1 x 1-hour in-home visit, $450. The in-home session can be before or after you get your dog.

JUNIOR CLASS
For dogs aged between 4 months and 6 months that have completed a puppy class. This class is specifically designed to help you with your young dog at this impressionable age. Let us help you take the stress out of puppy adolescence! This course includes:
Getting and keeping your dog's attention
Basic manners - sit, drop, stay and stand
Building calmness
Walking on a lead without pulling (in real-life situations!)
Getting your dog to come you even when they are busy/distracted
Household manners
Skills to increase confidence
Tricks for fun and husbandry
$250 for a 6-week course* (first session via Zoom)
Location: Best Friends MacGregor

SKILL BUILDER - HYBRID
This is a program specifically for all dogs that have completed our Fundamentals or Junior Program.
4 weeks of online learning content and 2 weeks training in person (week 3 and week 6).
The benefit of this is that you can work in the comfort of your own home, at a time that suits you, no rain delay, no travel (no petrol😉), you can involve the whole family and can even take it with you on holidays.
$200 for 6 weeks
Each Saturday you will get access to a new week with fantastic training videos and skills to work on. The in-person sessions will be held in the Tarragindi area around lots of real-life stimulus (2 dog parks, scooter park, playground, bike path, café etc).

JUNIOR OUT & ABOUT
If you are looking for a different type of class for your older puppy, Junior Out & About may be just what you have been looking for!
Build confidence with your dog as a team in busy public places
Support in a group as it can be overwhelming taking your young dog to a busy place
Practice skills in a real life environment
Get tips and guidance from your trainer
$195 for 5 weeks (week 1 online)
Pre requisites:
Dogs under 12 months of age
Fully vaccinated
Completed our Junior/Fundamentals course

COMMUNITY SKILLS
If you have done basic training with your dog, perhaps tried some other classes, but really want to get out and about and see the world with your dog? Our Community Skills class may be just the right course for you.
This course is suited to:
Those who want to spend time with their dog doing social activities in their community like going to cafes and parks
People who just want a great well behaved canine companion
People considering participating in community/volunteer programs such as therapy dog visits, reading/story dogs, or dogs for safety awareness programs.
Those who want to take their dog to visit family or friends in care facilities, but not necessarily as part of a volunteer program.
$250 for a 6-week course

ONLINE PROGRAMS AND EBOOKS
We offer a variety of online programs for you to learn skills easily at home in a comfortable environment and at your own pace.
We love online training for so many reasons! It’s dedicated time you spend with your dog in the comfort of your own home and flexible around your schedule. You have dedicated support from us (via email and phone) if you have any issues that arise during the course. For those doing the Reframing Reactivity, it’s a controlled environment so your dog won’t accidentally go over threshold. By using the app, you can have all the videos on your phone that you can view anytime and anyplace.
You get heaps and heaps of additional resources that add exceptional value to the online option.
For cats that don’t like strangers this is the best less stressful option.
Your training is not impacted by weather (rain, wind, heat, cold) and it’s more environmentally friendly (no travel, no fuel!).
